Receive

The truth has always been here.

The Word, enters as intelligence into the most subtle inward part of a person as pure Spirit, and if accepted the Word which is a Holy presence permeates throughout the vessel invisibly, bringing with it celestial transformative power.

“Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?” – Amos 3:3

Word Made Flesh

The Authentic Intelligence that governs the universe resides within each one of us, making us  human vessels that hold the key to the eternal universe. Embarking on the path leading to the kingdom within oneself is essential for eternal life.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 14:21

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

John 14:23

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 14:26

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Luke 17:20-21

His “name” is the Holy Spirit  and His kingdom is the only begotten Son. After all, this is what He taught when He said the Father was worshipped  “In Spirit and in Truth.”

For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Matthew 11:13-15

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John bear witness of him, and cried, saying This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.  And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by  Jesus Christ.

John 1:14-17

“Hold firmly that our faith is identical with that of the ancients.
Deny this and you dissolve the unity of the Church”

Thomas Aquinas (c.1225-1274)

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profits nothing: the words I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Mystic

a person who seeks by contemplation and self-surrender to obtain unity with or absorption into the Deity or the absolute, or who believes in the spiritual apprehension of truths that are beyond the intellect.

(It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)

KJV John 11:2

But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Luke 10:42

Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.”

The name Magdalena from the Bible is believed to have originated from the Hebrew noun “migdal,” meaning tower, which is derived from the verb “gadel” meaning to grow strong or great.

Contemplate On The Love Of God For Himself Only

Meditation on the scriptures teaches the soul the discourse with God... Without the pursuit of Holy Scriptures the mind can never approach God as taught thru
Jesus Christ... The Word.

Ancient Christian Wisdom

Matthew 6:6

But thou, when thou prays, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in the secret;  and thy Father which  seeth in secret will reward you openly.

3rd Century Desert Monks sayings...

When one desert father told another of his plans to "shut himself into his cell and
refuse the face of men, that he might perfect himself," the second monk replied,"
Unless thou first amend thy life going to and fro amongst men, thou shall not avail to amend it dwelling alone."

When desires, or illness, or exhaustion, or fear play on your mind, so as to hold you back from: Joy of hope and the desire to please God. Then it is your own soul you are serving and not the will of God.

You will not be able to carry out your prayer in a pure way if you are entangled with material concerns and agitated by constant worries. After all, prayer is precisely rejection of thought.

The Inner cell go sit in your cell and your cell will teach you everything.

The Holy Spirit suffers with us in our weakness and approaches us while we are still unclean. Should it simply find the mind praying to it with a desire for truth, the Spirit rests upon it and makes the entire troop of thoughts and worries that surround it disappear by turning the mind toward a love for spiritual prayer.

If you wish to carry out your prayer, you need God, who “gives prayer to the one praying.” So persist in calling out to him, saying “hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come.”

There is no need to make long discourses. It is enough to stretch out one's hands and to say: 'Lord as you will, and as you know, have mercy.' And if the conflict grows fiercer, say: 'Lord Help!' He knows very well what we need and He shows us his mercy."

The Jesus Prayer

Prayer Of The Heart

Lord Jesus Christ Son Of God Have Mercy On Me A Sinner

The Jesus Prayer/Prayer Of The Heart is an important prayer to Christians, who believe as the Ancient Desert Fathers that invoking the name of Jesus keeps the mind in the constant presence of God, and prepare the heart for meditation and the gift of contemplation.

The Jesus prayer chant from the popular book 'The Way of a Pilgrim'.

Hesychasm

Late 13th Century

(/ˈhɛsɪkæzəm, ˈhɛzɪ-/;[1] Greek: Ησυχασμός) Is a mystical Eastern tradition of contemplative prayer. Based on Jesus‘s injunction in the Gospel of Matthew that “whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you”, hesychasm is the process of retiring inward to recieve inner stillness which is simply quiet, calm, still mind  in order to achieve knowledge of God.

The work is within... To know oneself is to know God.

The Kingdom of God is within you says the Lord.  [Luke 17:21]

“Turn, then, to God with all your heart. Forsake this wretched world and your soul shall find rest…”Imitation Of Christ

If your mind still gazes about you during the time of prayer, you know that a solitary mind is no longer praying, but a worldly one, for it is trying to adorn its outward tent.

Solve Real Problems

And be not conformed to this world:                                                      but by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is good, and acceptable,  and perfect, will of God.

“SEEK ONLY RIGHTEOUSNESS AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD                  THAT IS VIRTUE, AND SPIRITUAL KNOWLEDGE AND EVERYTHING ELSE WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU”

Ancient Desert Monk

2 Peter 1:5

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

Virtues are formed in prayer.                        Preserves temperance, suppresses anger, restrains pride and envy, draws the Holy Spirit into the soul and raises man to Heaven.

St. Ephriam

For if thou canst bear the whole yoke of the Lord, thou will be perfect, but if canst not, do what thou canst.
